Carrier / Owner-Operator

1. Purpose

The purpose of this Agreement is for the Dispatcher to find and assign freight loads to the Carrier for transport using the Carrier’s own equipment and operating authority.

2. Terms

• This Agreement shall begin on the date signed and continue until terminated by either party with 7 days' written notice.
• Carrier authorizes Dispatcher to act as its agent to negotiate and book freight loads.

3. Dispatcher Responsibilities

• Find and book freight that meets Carrier’s preferences.
• Send load confirmations and rate agreements to the Carrier for approval.
• Provide rate confirmations, shipper/receiver details, and load documentation.
• Communicate pickup/delivery updates between Carrier and Broker/Shipper.
• Invoice broker/shipper on behalf of the Carrier if requested.

4. Carrier Responsibilities

• Provide the Dispatcher with the current MC authority, insurance, and W9.
• Operate under its own DOT authority and comply with all FMCSA regulations.
• Notify Dispatcher of any delays, incidents, or load issues.
• Pay the Dispatcher for services as agreed.

5. Payment

Dispatcher’s fee shall be 5% for Semi trucks, 8% for Hotshot, 10% for Sprinter Van, and 10% for Box truck per load (or flat rate of $300 per week).

6. Liability

The dispatcher is not responsible for loss, damage, delay, or cargo claims. Carrier holds full responsibility for transportation, equipment, and compliance with FMCSA regulations.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time with 7 days' written notice.

8. Entire Agreement

This document constitutes the entire agreement between both parties and supersedes all prior discussions or understandings.
